Benjamin, a multiple Grammy award winner, has an impressive musical CV: She has already performed with Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and Harry Belafonte. The native New Yorker, who played in salsa and merengue bands as a young woman, drew inspiration from none other than John and Alice Coltrane.
