Star tenor Juan Diego Flórez performs with the Sinfonía por el Perú, which he himself founded in 2011 modelled on the Venezuelan »Sistema« of youth orchestras, under the direction of up-and-coming conductor Ana María Patiño-Osorio. She accompanies him in graceful Italian bel canto arias as well as songs by Spanish and Peruvian composers.
