Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

Information on the accessible use of our website and online shop

We are working to improve our customer experience and help everyone, including people with disabilities, to meet their needs independently. It is very important to us to make visiting our website and the purchasing experience inclusive, usable and accessible for everyone.

We are working to ensure accessibility in accordance with the requirements of European Standard (EN) 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA Standard, and we adhere to the recommendations of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), including the use of ARIA attributes where appropriate.

What are EN 301 549 and WCAG?
EN 301 549 and WCAG define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of compliance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA. The guidelines cover a wide range of accessibility features, including text size and colour, keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility.

How accessible is our website currently?
Our website is largely accessible to people with disabilities. However, we are constantly identifying and addressing gaps and limitations in order to provide a completely accessible website, and we are in dialogue with accessibility experts who are helping us to review and improve our processes.

Accessibility features

Keyboard navigation
All functions, including ticket selection and ticket purchase, are accessible via keyboard navigation.

Support for screen readers
Form fields, buttons and content are largely readable and properly labelled for use with assistive technologies.

Colour contrast
We ensure sufficient contrast ratios between text and background to accommodate users with visual impairments.

ARIA support
We implement ARIA roles and attributes to help assistive technologies interpret content structure and functionality.

Clear language
We avoid unnecessarily complex or technical language to support cognitive accessibility.

Visibility and consistency of focus
Visual focus indicators are present, and the behaviour of the user interface remains consistent throughout the purchase process.

Known limitations

Text alternatives
Non-text content (such as images) includes alternative text descriptions.

Customising your experience
We want everyone to have a great experience on our website. You can improve your personal experience by adjusting the settings on your computer to suit your individual needs. For example, you could:

  • Change the colours of the website to make it easier to read.
  • Increase the text size to make it easier to see.
