»Alps & Glowing«
Both Thomas Gansch and Christian Bakanic are characterised by a musical openness to the world and a love of experimentation: both were socialised in the environment of Alpine folk music - Bakanic, for example, studied not only accordion but also folk music - and both have been successful for decades, drawing from this tradition. For their joint adventure, Gansch and Bakanic team up with greats of the local music scene such as the multi-stringed cellist Sophie Abraham, our portrait artist Manu Delago, Lukas Kranzelbinder, double bass player and bandleader of Shake Stew, or the radio.string.quartet. In doing so, they create something unique and show how much alpine sounds and jazz harmonise.
