Where you can hand in items of clothing and umbrellas
Cloakroom fee & locations
The standard cloakroom fee is € 1.80 per person. Please note that only cash payment is possible at the cloakrooms. Cloakrooms are available in the main foyer and in the Mozart-Saal foyer. There are no cloakrooms on the auditorium levels.
Liability for deposited items
The Konzerthaus is only liable for items of clothing, umbrellas and hats deposited in the public cloakroom against the issue of a cloakroom ticket within the limits of liability. No liability is accepted for other items left (bags, instruments, etc.) or their contents.
Lost property
If you have forgotten a cloakroom item in the Wiener Konzerthaus, please contact us on +43 1 242 00-0 at the e-mail address wiener@konzerthaus.at.
Safety regulations for items brought into the venue
For the safety of all concertgoers and in accordance with § 4 (9) and § 12 (2) of the Vienna Venue Act and the house rules, we kindly ask you to leave the following items at the cloakroom:
- Outerwear
- Hats and umbrellas
- Sticks
- Handbags (larger than A3 with corresponding volume)
- Backpacks (larger than A4 with corresponding volume)
- pushchairs
- Walking aids (unless absolutely necessary at the venue)
- bulky items or items not required for attending the event
Disabled persons may, of course, leave their walking aids outside the cloakrooms in the immediate vicinity of their seats. Please ensure that they do not obstruct any main traffic routes.
Bringing clothing and objects into the hall
Outer clothing brought into the hall must be kept on. It is not possible to bring wet or damp overclothing or similar into the hall in view of possible damage to the hall seating.
We ask for your understanding that, for safety reasons, it is also not possible to bring pushchairs or similar into the hall for children's events.
