The fascination of music

On the third and final date of his public master class, Franz Welser-Möst, the most successful Austrian conductor since Herbert von Karajan, works with Viennese pianist Lukas Sternath. The 23-year-old former Viennese choirboy is the new star in the pianist's firmament. Since winning the ARD Music Competition in 2022, he has been considered a high-flyer. And the high-flying continues: this summer, Lukas Sternath will make a guest appearance at the Salzburg Festival and next season he can be seen as a »Great Talent« at the Wiener Konzerthaus and as an ECHO »Rising Star«.
