Alma

For 15 years, Alma has been combining traditional folk music with modern flair – in a polyphonic and authentic way. The five musicians play classical and folk music, Ländler and polka, yodelling and waltzes, composition and improvisation side by side. The band draws inspiration for their compositions and arrangements from their numerous concert tours, which have taken them from Vienna to Scandinavia and Peru. Since its debut in 2015, Alma has been a regular guest at the Wiener Konzerthaus. When the ensemble returns to the Mozart Hall in October, opening the cycle »Spielarten«, there will be a joyful musical outlook for the future, because: Even after 15 years, Alma will definitely continue (from here) with skilful versatility!
