!!ANDRÉ HELLER LIVE!!

André Heller is one of the most versatile and remarkable creative talents of his generation. Since the late 1960s, he has also produced a distinctive body of musical work: songs that oscillate between Viennese character and cosmopolitanism, between melancholy, wit and poetry. Even though numerous spectacular projects later took his work far beyond the realm of music, he always remained true to the song as a form of expression. His characteristic voice, literary language and flair for finding grand stories in the small details continue to give his chansons a distinctive quality to this day.

After 45 years, to mark his 80th birthday
Shortly after his 80th birthday, André Heller returns to a special venue in his musical biography: the Vienna Konzerthaus. It was here that he gave his final public concert on 14 November 1981 – and now, more than 45 years later, he stands once more on this stage. Together with his band and Schrammeln, and accompanied by distinguished guests such as Andrea Eckert, Ernst Molden, Voodoo Jürgens and Ursula Strauss. The evening will be a long-awaited reunion with a selection of Heller’s songs, which have since become classics, and will offer insights into an extraordinary artistic life.
