Festival highlight

The festival finale takes place throughout the entire theatre: The audience strolls through halls, foyers and corridors, experiences great concerts, discovers literature and tastes exquisite Viennese wines. The simultaneous concerts take place in the Berio Hall, the Mozart Hall and the Great Hall. This is where a large number of outstanding artists come together, some of whom have already performed at previous editions of the festival or are making their festival debut.

Diverse artists
Dörte Lyssewski, Anna Rieser and Stefanie Dvorak will read carefully curated texts. Three quartets will be guests: the Finnish harmonica quartet Sväng, the Carinthian quartet Klakradl and – the Salzburg-based Javus Quartett. Bass-baritone Florian Boesch sings, Katharina Ernst plays the drums and Christoph Urbanetz elicits warm sounds from his viola da gamba. The Mongolian jazz pianist Shuteen Erdenebaatar and the Austrian indie pop duo Laurenz Nikolaus will also be performing. Italian Aldo Giannotti provides surprising perspectives with his art interventions. In the grand finale, the Musicbanda Franui finally unites all the contributors in an intoxicating final chord – a true conglomeration of the arts!
