Beyond genre boundaries
The
Janoska Ensemble's unique musical language combines classical music,
jazz, folk music and world music. Ulf Wakenius, long-time guitarist in
the Oscar Peterson Quartet, contributes his unmistakable sound. What
unites them both: the joy of spontaneous dialogue, the freedom of the
moment and paying homage to one of the most influential jazz pianists of
the 20th century.
On this evening, musical curiosity and
technical mastery give rise to lively, moving and captivating music -
across styles, virtuosic and full of wit.
