Kollegium Kalksburg / Agnes Palmisano Quartett

Three cheers for »Dudel-Diva« Agnes Palmisano, who is celebrating her birthday at the Vienna Konzerthaus. Under the motto »Age before beauty – Anniversary Edition«, the Ottakring-born birthday girl, accompanied by her own quartet, is celebrating 25 years of »Dudeläum«, a loving homage to the legendary Viennese »Dudler«, and is also marking the 30th anniversary of the Kollegium Kalksburg, which joins her on the podium of the Mozart Hall to humorously explore the boundaries of the genre. The programme features singing, plucking, playing, and the singing saw as well as the violin being bowed, with rhyming and non-rhyming pieces from the history of the Viennese song and beyond. Whether sentimental, sarcastic or playful –, this is where magnificent musicians come together to extend the map of the Viennese song to the ends of the earth!
