Lied-Meisterklasse mit Helmut Deutsch

Helmut Deutsch celebrated his 80th birthday on 24 December 2025. To mark the occasion, he is organising a Lied masterclass and passing on his experience as one of the most influential Lied accompanists of our time. Under his direction, sopranos Mira Alkhovik and Hannah-Theres Weigl, mezzo-soprano Camila Aguilera Yáñez and tenor Adrian Autard will work together with pianists Christopher Flaskamp and Gyeontaek Lee on selected songs. The focus is on the subtle nuances of text, sound and musical expression as well as the intimate collaboration between singer and accompanist that make lieder singing a unique art form: a wonderful opportunity to listen to and watch a great songwriter with many years of experience pass on his knowledge.
