Max Richter

Max Richter last toured the world in 2024 to mark the release of his album »In A Landscape«, and now he is returning to the stage with new live dates. The British composer inspires a global audience with his combination of classical orchestration and modern electronics – His music has already been streamed over three billion times.

Whether fashion, dance or film: Max Richter regularly collaborates with visionaries from a wide range of disciplines. He has composed for Dior designer Kim Jones, created ballet music for Wayne McGregor and written scores for directors such as Denis Villeneuve, Martin Scorsese and Ari Folman.

He also composed the original soundtrack for Chloé Zhao's upcoming feature film »Hamnet«. This year, he celebrated the tenth anniversary of his transcendental project »SLEEP« and released the new album »Sleep Circle« –, a 90-minute journey into a hypnagogic state. Together with artist Yulia Mahr, Richter founded Studio Richter Mahr –, a sustainably run creative centre in a converted farmhouse in Oxfordshire, surrounded by 31 acres of woodland. Here, both established and young artists find an inspiring space in which to develop new projects.
