Music by contemporary female composers
The Mivos Quartet's programme includes works by six contemporary female composers, including a world premiere by Sofia Jernberg. She is not only a composer, but also a vocalist on the borderline between so-called serious music and jazz. Ingrid Laubrock is herself a saxophonist, Flora Marlene Geißelbrecht a violist and vocalist.
