opia / Roiss

With their programme »xi«, the three musicians of the Consort for Early Music & New Perspectives, opia, delve into the thrilling, experimental soundscape and improvisational musical practice of the 14th and 15th centuries. The programme features secular and sacred music brimming with compositional and sonic richness, rational structures and expressive melodies. The concert offers a sonic portrayal of fast-paced hunting scenes, artful poetry, tranquil pastoral idylls and, of course, love – an essential element. For the first time, opia is realising a musical project in combination with sign-language poetry, developed in collaboration with Günter Roiss specifically for »Resonanzen« 2027.
