Lively Bach reception
The Swiss J. S. Bach Foundation and its musical director Rudolf Lutz have dedicated themselves to the gigantic corpus of works by Johann Sebastian Bach. Since 2006, they have dedicated themselves to a mammoth project: the complete performance of Bach's vocal works. Together with baroque specialists Julia Doyle and Matthias Helm, they interpret a dramatic soprano cantata, a dialogue cantata and give the (premiere) performance of a cantata for bass and orchestra, for which Rudolf Lutz combines original Bach arias with recitatives he has composed himself.
