Talented musicians introduce themselves
Musica Juventutis is dedicated to supporting highly gifted young Austrian musical talents. Those who came out on top in the most recent Musica Juventutis auditions will now be performing for the audience at the Vienna Konzerthaus.
A varied programme
The soprano Katharina Rothen will perform works by Richard Strauss and Franz Lehár, amongst others. The cellist Franziska Lermer will perform Dmitri Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata. Audiences can also look forward to the piano playing of David Kropfreiter, who will enrich the varied programme with pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, Sergei Prokofiev and Alexander Scriabin.
