Sarahbanda

The Sarahbanda combines Cuban dance rhythms with the sound of an instrument that does not exist in Cuban groups –the horn. Based on the project »Mozart y Mambo«, Sarah Willis, horn player with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and some of the best Cuban musicians bring together new arrangements of well-known songs such as »Chan Chan« and »Sandunguera«, their own compositions and surprising combinations of Cuban and classical music. The Sarahbanda creates a completely new, irresistible sound that is unrivalled.
