Strauss Festival Orchester

The Strauss Festival Orchestra is characterised by stylistic fidelity and an unadulterated sound, Viennese charm and the joy of music-making. This year, under the direction of Christoph Koncz, it will perform a varied cross-section of the »Waltz King's« oeuvre. The programme includes well-known operetta overtures, popular waltzes and polkas, but also passionately spirited orchestral works: two lively and festive concert evenings true to the motto of the Strauss waltz »Freuet euch des Lebens«!
