Tabea Zimmermann in a duo
Deutschlandfunk recently described her as the »undisputed queen of the viola«: Tabea Zimmermann. She became the youngest university professor at the age of 21 and has now been one of the best violists for four decades. Chamber music is particularly important to the versatile musician. She regularly performs with pianist Thomas Hoppe, with whom she is organising a duo evening with works by Johann Nepomuk Hummel, Johannes Brahms and Max Reger.
