An inclusive orchestral concert
An offer that combines two tried and tested formats: As previously with »Im Klang«, the musicians of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra are positioned in the spacious ground floor of the Great Hall so that the audience – people with and without disabilities, including wheelchair users –, can sit directly between them. The proximity to the musicians and a moderation tailored to the respective needs enable a multi-sensory experience that allows people with various disabilities to perceive music directly. The programme includes excerpts from Franz Schubert's »Great C Major Symphony«, played by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Petr Popelka and moderated by Petra Linecker. Workshops organised in advance at participating institutions, in which music is played together, complement the programme.
Additional offer
On request, musicians from the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and students from the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Anton Bruckner Private University will come directly to your institution in advance. In musical workshops, the musicians invite you to listen, try things out and join in.
