Description
The »Cuvée« cycle offers a combination of exquisite wines and a
particularly varied concert program: Orchestral concerts with renowned
soloists – including percussionist Vivi Vassileva, who presents one of
the most popular concertos for her instrument, and cellist Kian Soltani -
can be experienced here, as can jazz singer Diana Krall. Shooting star
Hayato Sumino, better known by his stage name Cateen, performs Ravel's
Concerto for Piano and Orchestra with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and
its chief conductor Petr Popelka, followed by one of the great symphonic
highlights, Dvořák's Symphony »From the New World«. The Sarahbanda with
Sarah Willis, horn player with the Berliner Philharmoniker, proves in
her debut that Mozart and Cuban mambo are not mutually exclusive, but
make a lively mixture.
