Description

International prizewinners and up-and-coming talents from Austria take centre stage here: soprano Martina Neubauer, winner of the Lions Music Prize Austria 2022, can look back on a Konzerthaus debut at »Musica Juventutis«, as can our »Great Talent« Anja Mittermüller. After two »Schubertiades« with Sir András Schiff, the latter is now part of the core team of young musicians sponsored by the Wiener Konzerthaus. French trumpeter Robin Paillet, winner of first prize and the audience prize at the ARD 2025 International Music Competition, conductor Johannes Beranek, who was awarded the Karl Österreicher Prize last June, and Dutch pianist Nikola Meeuwsen, winner of the recent Concours Reine Elisabeth, will be making their debuts. Philharmoniker bassoonist Sophie Dervaux will be conducting for the first time.
