The energetic trumpeter adds to the joy of brass sounds by returning to the Wiener Konzerthaus with his brass supergroup. The brass quintet Canadian Brass has set itself the goal of winning over a worldwide audience for brass sounds ranging from baroque to pop to Dixieland. The programme of The Philharmonic Brass is classically playful: with the precision of first-class musicians from the ranks of the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestras, they also dare to dance a stylistically varied dance. The ten-piece Catalan Balkan Paradise Orchestra will drive into the grand finale, mixing the brass tradition of the Balkans with global rhythms: a powerful debut by the female brass band founded in Barcelona in 2015, which effortlessly manages the fine balancing act between individual note and collective commitment!
