Cinematic Soundscapes

Federico Albanese combines minimalist piano melodies with string arrangements and electronica in his compositions. With his music, the artist, who was born in Milan in 1982 and has chosen to live in Berlin, transports listeners into almost cinematic worlds of sound that draw on elements of classical, pop and ambient music. The diverse musical influences in his compositions also reflect his great love of music.

Albanese learned to play the piano and clarinet as a child, turned to playing the guitar as a teenager and, after studying the double bass, established himself as one of the leading protagonists of the Milan underground scene. »Before and Now Seems Infinite« is Federico Albanese's latest project. Inspired by Marcel Proust's idea that one's own memory does not necessarily correspond to the truth, Albanese deals in it with the blurring of the past and the here and now, memory and reality.
