City Sounds

Danceable and full of sound magic - that's the soundscapes of this series! Pressyes, the »Prince of Austrian indie pop« (FM4) and his band will present his new album »Sundrops« at his Konzerthaus debut. Another debut is on the program with rapper NENDA: Her powerful song »Mixed Feelings« about experiences with everyday racism reached the top of the FM4 annual charts in 2021. The lyrics of Austrian-Filipino singer-songwriter Lukas Oscar are introspective and full of emotional authenticity. Kimyan Law, also a guest in the series for the first time, moves between genres in his art: he is a musician, filmmaker and painter and in his concerts he leads us through soundscapes in which African musical instruments and electronics enter into a symbiosis.
