Im Klang berührt
Our new inclusive concert format
Recommended for ages 16 and up
»Im Klang berührt« combines two tried and tested formats - »Im Klang« and »klangberührt«. As with »Im Klang«, the musicians of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra are seated in the spacious parterre of the »Großer Saal«. The audience can sit directly between them - people with and without disabilities, including wheelchair users of course.
Immediate perception of music
The proximity to the musicians and a moderation tailored to the respective needs enable a multi-sensory experience. »Touched by Sound« will take place on 18 June, with the programme featuring excerpts from Franz Schubert's »Great C Major Symphony«, played by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Petr Popelka and moderated by Petra Linecker.
Workshops organised in advance at participating institutions, in which music is played together, complete the programme.
