Barrier-free music experiences for all people
Our inclusive »klangberührt« concerts enable people with and without disabilities aged 16 and over to enjoy a barrier-free musical experience. To this end, the distance between the podium and the audience is reduced. The traditional »rules« of the concert programme are largely suspended. This creates a space in which concertgoers can spontaneously articulate their feelings and emotions. With this programme, we want to give as many people as possible access to inspiring music.
klangberührt subscription
Recommended from the age of 16Music for everyone and with everyone: Cultural participation is part of our mission, because music unites and creates unforgettable experiences. »klangberührt« enables interaction at eye level: between the listeners and between them and the musicians on stage. The four inclusive concerts in the »Schubert-Saal«l are aimed at people with and without disabilities aged 16 and over and offer a barrier-free musical experience.

Once again this season, there will be a free additional concert in the afternoon for residents and clients from social institutions. The aim of these concert encounters is to create direct access for as many different people as possible to touching and horizon-broadening music.
Registration
Please register at education@konzerthaus.at. Please indicate the number of participants and accompanying persons. Please also indicate how many wheelchair spaces are required. The concert is free of charge.

School concerts for inclusive classes
Recommended for children and young people aged 10–14In the 25/26 season, our inclusive concert format »klangberührt« will continue as a school concert. The concert experience is aimed at inclusive school centres and integration classes with pupils with and without disabilities aged between 10 and 14. The programme is free of charge.
For the format, the distance between the stage and the audience in the »Schubert-Saal« is reduced. The result is a concert format in which a lot is possible and allowed: a space in which students can spontaneously articulate their feelings and emotions - barrier-free, in the best sense of the word.
Music mediator Lilian Genn interacts with the audience, and the use of light and colour appeals to all the senses - enabling a holistic and comprehensive approach to listening to music.
