Happy Birthday!
50 years of Thomas Gansch? Of course there will be plenty of roses! At this milestone birthday party, it's not just a case of cutting a cake and singing »Good luck and many blessings« - the trumpets will be blaring until the last valve train runs hot!
Gansch celebrates with brass greats
The jubilarian, who was born in St. Pölten fifty years ago, invited the best that the brass world has to offer: a wild, highly musical troupe consisting of Randy Brecker, James Morrison, David Taylor, Wolfgang Puschnig, Florian Trübsbach, Fabian Rucker, Albert Wieder and Peter Erskine on drums.
Diverse brass music
Together they call themselves Gansch & Roses. Anyone who thinks that sounds like roses and kid gloves has got it all wrong, because brass music can do everything here: dancing, grooving, singing, flirting, swearing, laughing and crying – and preferably all in one piece. So this concert will be a wild ride through the world of weird sounds, beautiful melodies and surprising twists and turns, with a lot of heart, a good dose of nonsense and proof that brass music is neither old-fashioned nor well-behaved, but lively, cheeky and uninhibitedly good.
