Star pianist in concert

Lang Lang began playing the piano at the age of three. At the age of five he won the Shenyang Piano Competition and gave his first public piano recital, at nine he studied at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing – and today he is a star. His recital oscillates between the classical lightness of Mozart, the dramatic intensity of Beethoven and Liszt and the luminous Spanish fire of Albéniz and Granados.
