Description
The »Jazz unplugged« cycle brings together shooting stars and audience favorites. The first two concerts feature eagerly awaited debuts: Brandee Younger is rewriting the history of the harp in jazz. She draws on harpists such as Dorothy Ashby and Alice Coltrane and integrates elements of R'n'B and hip-hop into her music. An unmistakably soft voice and profound lyrics – these are the trademarks of Grammy-nominated singer Somi. Jacky Terrasson is one of the most listened to French jazz musicians on digital platforms. He presents his new album »Moving On«. Finally, Wolfgang Muthspiel, one of the leading guitarists of his generation, fuses jazz and contemporary influences in a trio with Scott Colley and Brian Blade.
