Description

The »Nouvelles Aventures« cycle is characterised by two major works with a prominent cast and two themed evenings: after sensational successes in Prague, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Hanover, New York and Hangzhou, Georg Friedrich Haas' overwhelming concert installation »11,000 Strings« returns to the Great Hall of the Wiener Konzerthaus after almost three years. Grandmaster Pierre-Laurent Aimard presents a touching work for piano and live electronics by Mark Andre, which has enjoyed a quieter but equally impressive triumph since its premiere in 2024. String quartets with live electronics by three Italian composers from three generations will be performed by the Quartetto Maurice from Turin on their debut evening, and the œnm will present new works by young composers from three continents.
