Description
A rendezvous with music that transcends genre boundaries: Philharmonic Five has the secret recipe for chamber music evenings with esprit! Timeless classical music in piano quintet formation meets entertaining arrangements of jazz, Latin sounds and film music, as well as so-called »e-music«. The ensemble follows the course of the Danube – with picturesque soundscapes by Béla Bartók – presents itself romantically »in the mood for love« with Hollywood scores by John Williams and, last but not least, gives Ludwig van Beethoven the final word. And since variety is the trump card, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 is joined by the music of a world traveller between jazz and classical music, Michel Camilo.
