Description

They tell the best stories with the right music: Four acts from the international singer-songwriter scene will be performing at the Wiener Konzerthaus. The show kicks off with Cat Power, a US icon celebrating the 20th anniversary of her album »The Greatest«. DOTA and Kat Frankie will be travelling from Berlin: While DOTA and its tiny orchestra tackle current issues such as climate change and the ever-widening gap between rich and poor, Australian-born Kat Frankie and her eight-piece a cappella women's ensemble talk about community and collective endeavour. The Swiss singer Sophie Hunger lives out a great affinity for the art of language in her songs: Each song tells its own story. Her sonic home lies between rock, pop, punk, folk, country, bluegrass – a country that knows no borders.
