The guests in this cycle have traveled far and wide and they take us on a varied tour: The Sicilian bard Pippo Pollina opens the series with chamber music accompaniment, before the Quinteto Astor Piazzolla from Buenos Aires gives us a taste of their interpretation of Tango Nuevo for the first time. The great fado singer Carminho presents what is probably her most personal album to date, shedding light on her own history and musical influences in »Portuguesa«. With their album »Loud Silence«, the Polish trio Kroke introduce themselves to the local audience: The Krakow-based ensemble interweaves avant-garde, bebop, tango and klezmer – sometimes even within a single piece. An adventure of boundless joy!
