ZAM
We bring people together
Music connects people, places, and generations.
ZAM – the outreach project of the Wiener Konzerthaus – brings established musicians together with local ensembles and committed individuals through joint music-making, inspiring discussions, and creative workshops.
After stops in Ebensee and Langen near Bregenz, ZAM is now coming to Carinthia—in cooperation with the Carinthian Cultural Foundation.
From September 25 to 27, 2025, the extraordinary ensemble Alpen&Glühen, led by trumpeter, singer, and style-bending artist Thomas Gansch, will meet the traditional Carinthian Madrigal Choir Klagenfurt, conducted by Graz Cathedral choirmaster Melissa Dermastia, in Krumpendorf am Wörthersee. Alpen&Glühen brings together some of the most distinctive musical personalities on the Austrian scene—including Klagenfurt bassist Lukas Kranzelbinder—to form a polyphonic ensemble that blends Alpine tradition, jazz, improvised music, and world music experimentation.
For three days, Krumpendorf becomes a meeting place for professionals, amateur musicians, music enthusiasts, and curious visitors.
