​The card complete cycle offers six concerts with top-class orchestras and outstanding soloists in the Great Hall: The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra under Manfred Honeck opens with Alexandre Kantorow as the soloist in Brahms' First Piano Concerto and Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony. The Wiener Symphoniker with the Wiener Singakademie and soloists such as Julia Lezhneva and Julian Prégardien under Ton Koopman offer a classical splendour of sound when Mozart's Requiem is heard alongside Haydn's »Salomon«-Symphonie. The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra under Tarmo Peltokoski with Martin Helmchen at the piano presents a colourful and original performance of Saint-Saëns' »Carnival of the Animals« and an orchestral journey through Wagner's »Ring«. Yannick Nézet-Séguin creates a symphonic monument with the Vienna Philharmonic and Mahler's moving Ninth Symphony. The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra under Jaap van Zweden promises great romantic emotions with Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto, interpreted by Yekwon Sunwoo, and Tchaikovsky's Fifth. The Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Singakademie under Jakub Hrůša provide the glittering finale, when Beethoven's Eighth and his monumental Ninth are impressively juxtaposed with the choir and soloists, including Louise Alder.
