Jazz unplugged

Chris Potter, who has been shaping the international saxophone world for decades and has also caused a sensation at the Wiener Konzerthaus on several occasions, opens the »Jazz unplugged« cycle with his trio. This will be followed by the debut of singer Michael Mayo, who was recently nominated in two Grammy categories and has attracted worldwide attention with his album »Fly«. Armenian jazz pianist Tigran Hamasyan will be making an exclusive guest appearance at the Wiener Konzerthaus as a solo artist – allowing his musical genius to be experienced down to the smallest detail. Hamasyan's lyrical and groovy American counterpart is jazz pianist Aaron Parks, who will conclude the cycle with his cult band Little Big after performing alongside Joshua Redman and Dhafer Youssef in recent years.
