Description
Chamber music from duo to octet: an all-star trio opens with a late romantic program. Renaud Capuçon and Daniel Lozakovich dedicate themselves to rarely performed repertoire for violin duo, before Frank Peter Zimmermann and later Tabea Zimmermann present violin and viola sonatas from Schubert to Reger. With the Jerusalem and Castalian String Quartets, we are expecting two internationally sought-after string quartets, and we are also looking forward to Schubert's Octet with the Scharoun Ensemble Berlin. Special mention should be made of a project with Afanasy Chupin and Kaori Yamagami, concertmaster and solo cellist respectively in renowned chamber orchestras throughout Europe, Volker Jacobsen, founding member of the Artemis Quartet, and Alexander Melnikov, who will put together a harmonious evening from six piano quartet movements of different provenance.
