Description
Established artistic personalities, up-and-coming talents and an evening with three pianists and a chamber ensemble – that's what »Klavier im Mozart-Saal«. The two young stars Alexandra Dovgan and Mao Fujita are once again guests in the cycle, while Jean-Efflam Bavouzet introduces himself to the Viennese audience. The debut of 23-year-old Alexander Malofeev, whose virtuosity has earned the respect of international competition juries, also sounds promising: he presents a wide-ranging programme from Grieg to Sibelius and Prokofiev to Rautavaara. The recent winner of the Chopin Competition, Eric Lu, gives an insight into his skills and Chopin expertise. »Bach pur« is the motto of Anna Vinnitskaya, Evgeni Koroliov, Ljupka Hadzi Georgieva and their fellow musicians: They perform concertos for up to three pianos by grand master Johann Sebastian Bach.
