Symphonie Classique
Symphonie Classique – the cycle of Viennese classical masterpieces for all those who enjoy classical concerts and want to get to know international greats as well as interesting newcomers to the music scene: The focus is on national and international chamber orchestras in large ensembles with renowned conductors, virtuoso soloists and up-and-coming talents of the classical music world.
The Camerata Salzburg, for example, will present its specific Mozart sound at its guest performance, when it interprets selected violin concertos by the Salzburg master with Janine Jansen. The multi-talented Kit Armstrong and his specially assembled ensembles will shine a new light on the »Jeunehomme« concerto and the Sinfonia concertante in his »Expedition Mozart«. On the other hand, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen under the baton of Paavo Järvi will focus on Haydn. And for those who want to continue the journey, the concerts of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra are recommended, which continues the thread to Max Bruch and Saint-Saëns.
