Description

With our gift subscription, you’ll benefit from discounted ticket prices when you book at least three out of twenty events. Choose whatever takes your fancy and look forward to concerts featuring renowned soloists such as Julia Fischer, María Dueñas, Víkingur Ólafsson and Rudolf Buchbinder, conductors such as Lahav Shani and Jakub Hrůša, and orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. The programme ranges from Mozart’s Piano Concerto in C minor, K. 491, and Beethoven’s »Eroica«, through Tchaikovsky’s »Pathétique«, Sibelius’s Violin Concerto and Bruckner’s Ninth, right through to »Symphonic Dances« from Bernstein’s »West Side Story«. Further highlights include a recital of Beethoven’s piano sonatas and Patricia Kopatchinskaja’s »Prometheus«. Jazz, world music and crossover enrich the programme: Branford Marsalis joins forces with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Lila Downs presents »Cambias Mi Mundo«, Ledisi pays tribute to Dinah Washington, and the Balkan Paradise Orchestra delivers pulsating rhythms.
