Description
The core subscription with four concerts
If
you want to spend a cultural weekend in Vienna, this is the right place
for you, as is anyone who is simply interested in good music: The
“Concert.Art” cycle consists of a core subscription with four top-class
orchestral concerts. In addition to the Vienna Philharmonic's home
concert under Andris Nelsons, the program includes concerts with the
Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra under Myung-Whun Chung and Les Musiciennes
du Concert des Nations under Jordi Savall, as well as a Rachmaninoff
evening with the Orchestre de Paris under Klaus Mäkelä and with Anna
Vinnitskaya at the piano.
Eight optional extensions
The
subscription can be optionally extended by up to eight additional
concerts, ranging from covered baroque arias with countertenor Jakub
Józef Orliński to a Brahms piano concerto with Khatia Buniatishvili,
jazz star Diana Krall and Argentinian tango with the Quinteto Astor
Piazzolla to a silent film with live music. In addition to three
concerts with the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra, there will be further
concerts with The Constellation Choir & Orchestra under Sir John
Eliot Gardiner and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande under Jonathan
Nott. You can hear the flutist Emmanuel Pahud and the tenor Julian
Prégardien as soloists.
Concerts at the weekend
All events take place on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday and are therefore particularly suitable for weekend trips to Vienna.
Discounts
Special benefits for Ö1 Club and Intro members: With this subscription you enjoy a discount of more than 20% (compared to buying individual tickets). As a gift, you will receive a free ticket for the FOTO ARSENAL WIEN with every subscription.
