»Beat The Silence«

Did you already know? The event »Beat The Silence« proves that concerts can also be a sensual experience of music for hearing-impaired people. With acts from alternative folk, vocal art, percussion and an exhibition about life without sound, hearing worlds come together tangibly: an inclusive experience of music - for people with and without hearing.

The exhibition: HANDS UP is an interactive experience that takes visitors gently and with a lot of humor on an exciting journey into the world of silence. In addition to the core theme of the exhibition, deafness to experience and touch, we offer the focus on music - »Beethoven - Ode to Silence«: How do deaf people perceive music? How does the world »sound« as a hearing impaired person? How does music feel? CI simulation, various listening examples and much more.
