Families and children – Overview

You would like your child have a direct, hands-on experience of music? Here, singing and music-making in particular can open up a new world of experience. For this reason, we offer a playful introduction to the world of music using games of rhythm and recognition for children aged one year and upwards; concerts with painting and handicraft activities for children aged three and upwards; musical fairytales for children aged six and upwards; and children aged eight and upwards can try out musical instruments for themselves in our musical merry-go-round. And to give your child an easy introduction to the large symphonic concerts after the staged children’s concerts, we offer various concert series such as »Vorhören!« or »Im Klang« which not only provide a new and different perspective on the music, but also an opportunity to interact directly with the musicians.

Please note the different age recommendations for each of our children’s programmes.
