Families and children – Overview

»The music, it sounds so beautiful«

Give your child playful access to the world of music with our extensive range of activities!

Singing and making music together in particular opens up a new world of experience. That's why we offer an effortless and child-friendly musical introduction through rhythm and perception games for children from the age of one, concerts with a live animated stage set for children from the age of three, and staged concert formats for children from the age of six. Try it out yourself at the instrument carousel in the »Concertino« cycle for children aged nine and up.

In the interactive concert introductions »Vorhören!« children and young people take a close look at various works of the major symphony concerts. The »Im Klang« (In the Sound) format opens up unusual vantage points in a 360-degree perspective as you take a seat in the middle of the orchestra next to your favourite instrument.

Please note our age recommendations for the various events.
