Wheelchair facilities

Places for wheelchairs (€9, €10 for the 2015-2016 season) may be purchased from the start of sales until one week before the performance. An accompanying person pays the regular ticket price and will have a seat allocated in the same row.

To order a wheelchair seat on konzerthaus.at, click on Programme & Tickets, scroll down to the event you are looking for and click first on «Purchase tickets» and then in the price categories on «Order wheelchair seat». If the icon and the lettering are not displayed, then no more wheelchair seats are available for this event.

The Wiener Konzerthaus has four toilets equipped for the handicapped:

2 UG (2nd basement) – the toilet facilities at the Berio Hall;
EG (ground floor) – in the vestibule near the lifts for the Great Hall;
ZG (mezzanine) – the toilet facilities for the Schubert Hall, near the lifts for the Great Hall;
1 OG (level 1) – on the right rear side of the parterre level, near the lifts for the Great Hall.

The adaptation and equipping of the Wiener Konzerthaus to match the needs of the disabled was supported by the AUVA (Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt) which, as the Austrian Social Insurance Organization for Occupational Risks, promotes the integration of the handicapped into society.
