Musicbanda Franui / Musikkapelle Innervillgraten

Innervillgraten, 1,402 metres above sea level: Whenever someone leaves this earth in this tiny village of eastern Tyrol, the local band turns out in full to accompany them on their final journey. «From the Tiny End of the World» is not only the title of a text by the Innervillgraten-based writer Johannes E. Trojer, but also the name of this evening’s programme. The east Tyrolean Musicbanda Franui and Musikkapelle Innervillgraten show that doors can always open unexpectedly when they combine beautiful funeral marches from the Alps with the music of Brahms, Mahler and Schubert.
