Göteborger Symphoniker - Schwedisches Nationalorchester / Vogt / Altinoglu
The Swedish city of Göteborg, with its population of around half a million, proudly boasts an orchestra of its own that enjoys worldwide acclaim: the Göteborg Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1905, and was awarded the status of Swedish national orchestra in 1997. Under Alain Altinoglu, musical director of the Théatre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels and an expert of the Lied, and with the internationally acclaimed tenor Klaus Florian Vogt, the northern elite ensemble will perform orchestral songs of Richard Strauss.
