A mood you want to live inside of forever

The duo Air, whose name is an acronym of the French words »amour, imagination et rêve« (»love, imagination and dream«), released an album 25 years ago with »Moon Safari« that inspired an entire generation. Whether in a bar, living room or car, the French electronic duo's debut album takes you into a world of gentle sound structures, slow tempos, warm melodies and atmospheric synthesizer sounds. Unlike the widespread French house of the 1990s, there is no rebellion in Air's music, but instead a clear permission to dream. Jean-Benoît Dunckel, who forms the duo together with Nicolas Godin, ascribes to the album »a deep, universal magic, full of love and secrets«. In 2024, Air performs »Moon Safari« live for the first time, bringing one of the most listened-to records of the 1990s to the (earthly) stages.
