From the festive Marian praise to the intimate chamber music evening, the sound arch spans when international specialists in historical performance practice play with history set to music. The proportion of young artists and debutants is gratifyingly high! Lea Desandre, who was successful in the 2017 »Resonanzen« auditions, comes to the Mozart Hall for the first time with her Jupiter Ensemble, founded in 2018. Also Leila Schayegh's formation La Centifolia, La Cetra Basel conducted by recorder virtuoso Maurice Steger and the brilliant baroque quartet Nevermind by portrait artist Jean Rondeau. There will also be a reunion with the Swiss Friday Academy, which caused a sensation last season with Nikolaus Habjan and »Alcina«, and with Les Arts Florissants. Sir András Schiff will play Schubert on the keys of a historical fortepiano, while Michele Pasotti's La fonte musica - best known for its impressive performances at the »Resonanzen« - will perform Monteverdi in the Great Hall.
